What We Take Away
One visit for the whole garden, whether it is a single pile of cuttings or a full clear out after landscaping.
Grass, Hedge And Tree Cuttings
Lawn clippings, hedge trimmings, branches, leaves and weeds. Bagged or loose, it makes no difference to us.
Soil, Turf And Rubble
Excess soil, lifted turf, old paving slabs and hardcore left behind after landscaping work.
Fencing And Decking
Blown down fence panels, rotten posts, gravel boards and lifted decking, including the concrete feet.
Sheds And Greenhouses
Dismantled and taken away in one visit, including timber, roofing felt and glazing.
Garden Furniture And Pots
Tables, chairs, parasols, planters, troughs, broken pots and old barbecues.
Trampolines And Play Equipment
Trampolines, swing sets, playhouses and paddling pools, taken apart where they will not fit through the gate.
Skip Hire Or A Collection?
Both get the waste gone. The difference is how much of the work and paperwork lands on you.
Hiring a skip
What a typical skip hire involves.
- A council permit is needed if it goes on the road
- You load it yourself, over several days
- It sits on the drive or street until collection
- You pay for the full size whether you fill it or not
- Passers by and neighbours can add their own waste
A Waste Grab N Go collection
How we handle the same garden.
- No permit and no paperwork to arrange
- Our team does every bit of the loading
- In and gone within the same visit
- You pay for the space your waste actually fills
- Nothing is left sitting outside your house
Access Is Our Problem, Not Yours
Garden waste almost always sits behind the house, and that is exactly where we expect to find it. Our team carries everything out through side gates, alleyways or straight through the property, laying down protection on the way. Nothing needs dragging round to the front before we arrive.
Where Your Green Waste Ends Up
Green waste is kept separate on the van and taken to a licensed transfer station, where it is composted or processed into biomass rather than buried. Heavier materials are sorted on arrival so as much as possible is recovered.
- Green waste separated from the rest of the load
- Composted or processed into biomass fuel
- Soil, turf and rubble sorted for reuse
- Timber and fence panels recovered where possible
Garden Waste Questions
Do I need to bag the waste up first?
No. Loose piles, filled bags, tangled branches and half a lawn are all fine as they are. Bagging can make an awkward job quicker, but it never changes the price, so leave it if you would rather not.
Can you get to a back garden?
Yes, and it is what we do most days. We carry everything out through side gates, shared alleyways or through the house itself, putting protection down on floors and carpets on the way through.
Do you take soil and rubble as well as green waste?
Yes. Soil, turf, slabs and hardcore are much heavier than cuttings, so they take up their weight allowance faster than their space. Mention them when you get your quote and the price will account for it up front.
Is this cheaper than hiring a skip?
It depends on the job. With a skip you pay for the full container whether you fill it or not, plus a permit if it sits on the road. With us you pay for the space your waste actually takes up and there is no permit. For most single garden clear outs that works out well, and we will tell you honestly if a skip suits you better.
How quickly can you come out?
Same day slots are often available, particularly earlier in the week. We collect Monday to Saturday, so a Friday evening clear out can usually be gone by Saturday.
